Aug. 24
- Someone who resides on Brooke Acres Court reportedly lost their driver’s license at 10:52am.
- A caller’s son’s mountain bike was reportedly stolen from the front of Safeway on Union Avenue at 3:44pm.
Aug. 25
- A parent reportedly drove their vehicle into the school fence at Alta Vista School on Blossom Valley Drive, causing damage. The accident occurred Aug. 24 evening, but was reported on Aug. 25 at 8:10pm.
- A caller reported that motorists continue to run the stop sign at Tait and Bachman avenues at 8:23am.
- A man was cited and released after carrying a knife, and waving it in the air at the American Italian Deli on Elm Street at 9:57am.
- A vehicle’s window was reportedly smashed at Best Western Inn on Los Gatos Saratoga Road at 10:32am.
- A vehicle reportedly struck a fire hydrant at Los Gatos Boulevard and Kennedy Road at 3:28pm.
- A parent reported that a student committed battery against her son at Safeway on Pollard Road, and claimed the student’s mother drove them there for that purpose at 4:27pm.
Aug. 26
- A wallet was reported stolen from a backpack on Walnut Hill Court. The theft occurred Aug. 25 but was reported Aug. 26 at 5:52pm.
- Someone reportedly rear-ended the caller, but no injuries were reported on Bancroft Avenue at 7:01pm.
Aug. 27
- Two electric scooters worth around $1,100 were reported stolen at Bay Tree Apartments on Massol Avenue at 6:44am.
- Liquor and miscellaneous groceries were reportedly stolen from Safeway on North Santa Cruz Avenue. The theft occurred on Aug. 25, but was reported on Aug. 27 at 11:33am.
- A man was cited and released after reportedly being drunk and throwing random trash around on Wood Road at 11:33am.
- A caller reported someone trespassing and refusing to leave after they tried to steal beer for the second time at Trader Joes on Los Gatos Boulevard at 7:17pm.
- A front license plate was reportedly stolen at Muni Lot on Elm Street between 2:00am and 4:30am.
Aug. 28
- A man was reportedly trying to get into his car while drunk at Pizza My Heart on North Santa Cruz Avenue at 12:00am.
- Subjects reportedly broke into the caller’s locked vehicle, breaking the rear passenger window, taking tools and ransacking the glovebox on Cherryston Drive at 5:21am.
- A caller reported that their mail was intercepted and cashed on Overlook Road at 10:37am.
- A homeless person was arrested on a warrant after throwing rocks at the maintenance yard at Los Gatos High School on High School Court at 1:49pm.
Aug. 29
- A catalytic converter was reportedly stolen from the caller’s vehicle on Los Gatos Boulevard at 10:29am.
- A caller reported they sideswiped a parked vehicle at Fisher Middle School on Fischer Avenue at 3:17pm.
- About $300 in body sprays and other items was reported stolen at Safeway on Pollard Road at 5:24pm.
- A group of six teenagers were reportedly throwing rocks at vehicles at Blossom Hill Park on Blossom Hill Road at 10:36pm.
