A vegetation fire that broke out in the 16500 block of Matilija Drive in Los Gatos this morning was quickly brought under control.

There are no reports of injuries or damage to structures.

Just after 10am, the Santa Clara County Fire Department announced on Twitter it was responding to a two-alarm fire with the help of its auto-aid unit.

Half an hour later, the Department said the fire had been contained to a single acre.

Cal Fire and Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District participated in the response.
