Feb. 4

A caller said someone stole his gym bag, sunglasses and other miscellaneous items from his unlocked vehicle along Fairview Avenue around 12:30am.

A 37-year-old man was arrested for unlawful possession of paraphernalia and violating the terms of his Post Release Community Supervision order.

LGMSPD received 18 reports of either trees or wires down.

Feb. 5

A theft was reported at 9:49am at Salon Centric on Los Gatos Boulevard. The caller said two male suspects entered the store the prior Saturday and stole about $1,600 in clippers.

A red Tesla was reported for parking in an underground handicap spot near Yoga Source on Los Gatos Boulevard.

Feb. 6

A laptop was stolen from Office Depot on Los Gatos Boulevard. The getaway vehicle was caught on camera, but the suspect’s license plate came out blurry.

A reporting party said their brother’s girlfriend stole a vehicle.

At 5:04pm, two suspects stole duffle bags full of alcohol and other items from Safeway on Union Avenue.

Feb. 7

A 22-year-old man was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

A 23-year-old man was arrested at Blossom Hill Road and Camden Avenue at 10:37pm for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Feb. 8

Several vehicles were cited for parking in the “No Parking” zone across from Los Gatos High School just before 8:30am.

At 4:24pm a petty theft was reported at Xandra swimwear on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. A suspect took a crochet top and a floral track suit.

Around 5:30pm, two vehicles were coming around a curve on Shannon Road. The driver of the rear vehicle was impatient and attempted to pass the other vehicle, but wasn’t successful and crashed.

A caller reported excessive noise from an HVAC system at Ramblc Pediatrics on Los Gatos Boulevard. The reporting party said they’d contacted the office on multiple occasions over the prior few weeks, and keep getting told the issue is being dealt with.

Feb. 9

A white Acura TL collided with a blue Toyota Highlander at Los Gatos Boulevard and Los Gatos-Saratoga Road around 11:37am. The driver of the Highlander didn’t have insurance or registration information.

A red couch was deposited in the gutter on the street at Maria Teresa Court and Camino Del Cerro.

At 5:18pm a caller advised police of a “nonstop alarm” that had been going off for a week in front of their home, saying the problem had “been happening since the rain last week” and “doesn’t seem like a security alarm.”

About 6-10 youth were yelling at Bachman Park around 8:48pm, sparking a noise complaint.

Just before 10pm, an electric bike was stolen from in front of Safeway on North Santa Cruz Avenue.

Feb. 10

A suspicious person was reported at 11:03am at University Avenue and Blossom Hill Road. The woman in her early-to-mid 30s was said to be riding a black bicycle with red lettering and looking into parked vehicles. Police were unable to locate her.

A 48-year-old man was arrested at Lark and University avenues at 2:26pm for driving while under the influence of alcohol.

A reckless vehicle was reported at 9:50pm at Pollard and Burrows roads. The gray Toyota RAV4 was headed eastbound on Pollard. Another reckless vehicle was reported at 10:06pm at Highway 17 and Hamilton Avenue.

At 3:03pm, a 34-year-old man was arrested following a collision with injuries at Bella Vista and Caldwell avenues.

An auto burglary was reported at 11:53pm at S. Santa Cruz Avenue and Broadway. The windows of a black BMW were smashed and backpacks with laptops were taken. The caller said the crime had occurred in the previous 20 minutes.
