Leslie Collins, founder of the Jolly10k Fentanyl Awareness Fun Run, is inviting the community to join the fifth annual event on Saturday, July 18, to honor loved ones lost to Fentanyl and promote life-saving education.
The race will begin at 8am at Balzer Field, located at 57 Miles Ave. in Los Gatos, with on-site registration opening at 7am. Participants can choose between a scenic 10K or 5K run through the beautiful trails of Los Gatos.
This year’s theme is “Run and Remember.”

The event brings people of all backgrounds together for healing, education and community. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn life-saving skills, including free CPR training, from the Santa Clara County Fire Department. Narcan, which can be administered to save a life during a fentanyl overdose, will be distributed.
The event is set to feature inspiring guest speakers, raffles, food and more.
Collins created the Jolly10K after losing her son, Jolly, to fentanyl on July 24, 2021. The annual run serves as a safe space for families to have open conversations about the dangers of fentanyl, and to remember lost loved ones.
How to participate in the memorial banner: Families who have lost a loved one to fentanyl or addiction are invited to submit a clear photo, full name and “forever age” to jo*********@***il.com
