Mayor Mary Badame and Los Gatos Library Director Ryan Baker joined other local officials to thank fifth-grade Blossom Hill Elementary student Bradley Hall for raising hundreds of dollars for the library, Monday.

He attended a traveling trivia game show, in Santa Cruz, called “The No Brainer Show,” hosted by “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” author Jeff Kinney.

Bradley was randomly selected out of an audience of about 5,000 to compete at the show.

He got up on stage, and was asked trivia questions about books and literature.

Bradley chose to play to support the Los Gatos Library, and ended up winning $500 to support his hometown book-lending institution.
