A caller reported people for participating in a fitness class; other items listed in the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department's blotter from Jan. 7-13 included grand theft, attempted murder, battery and burglary.

This week, John Maxey Yeager was charged with first degree murder and felony false imprisonment of his wife, Yingying "Dawn" Yu, who had filed for a divorce that was never finalized.
