Sunday, Aug. 17

An incident of grand theft was reported at 7:42pm on Elm Wood Court. The reporting person had $4,000 in cash stowed away in his closet in order to pay contractors, and it was gone after the subject was at the property conducting measurements. It is unknown who is now in possession of the cash, and cameras inside and outside of the residence were out of battery. 

Monday, Aug. 18

A prowler was reported at 5:55am on Blossom Hill Road. A male subject wearing a mask was seen looking into an apartment. 

Two municipal code violations were reported later in the day, one at 11:28am and the other at 6:08pm. The former involved solicitation on Alpine Avenue and the latter a loud leaf blower on Jackson Street. 

Tuesday, Aug. 19

Two vehicle code violations and three vehicle accidents were reported across the day.

At 11:43pm, a stolen vehicle was recovered at West Parr Avenue and Vale Avenue in Campbell. 

Wednesday, Aug. 20

For the second week in a row, hundreds of dollars in deodorant were stolen—this time, at the Safeway on Pollard Road. Although occurring on Monday, the theft was reported at 9:29am. The subject entered the store premises and store $500 worth of products. 

Two other petty thefts were reported, one at 3:05am and the other at 5:31pm. Both involved thefts at Aventino Apartments on Winchester Circle. 

Thursday, Aug. 21

At 5:22pm, an incident of battery was reported at Sunbelt Rentals on Los Gatos Boulevard. A male shoved another male into the street, the responding subject was an employee at Sunbelt. 

Friday, Aug. 22

Two individual prowlers were reported at 8:33am and 9:01am—the second one involving a male subject entering the reporting person’s house and fleeing towards a school.

An incident of grand theft was reported at 1:22pm at the Apple store on North Santa Cruz Avenue. Two iPhone 16 pros were stolen last Saturday, the reporting person provided video surveillance.

Saturday, Aug. 23

At 11:16am, a grand theft was reported at the Safeway on Union Avenue. The subject stole approximately $2,500 worth of medication. This is the fourth incident of theft at Los Gatos-based Safeways in two weeks. 

Three incidents involving juvenile disturbances were reported in the late afternoon and early evening.
