This morning police issued a shelter-in-place order for the Towne Terrace neighborhood.

Around 11am, the Los-Gatos Monte Sereno Police Department posted on Instagram about police activity in conjunction with the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office.

“Shelter in place and avoid traffic in the University Ave corridor,” a spokesperson wrote.

Motorists were told to avoid the University Avenue corridor.

No additional details were immediately available.
