The Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department isn’t saying much about why its officers were out in force on Thursday.

According to a police spokesperson writing on social media, they headed down to the Los Gatos Boulevard and Farley Road area around 12:30pm to search for a suspect related to an ongoing investigation.

“Officers were not able to locate the subject, who had outstanding warrants,” the police official said. “There is no threat to the public, or safety of the community at this time.”
