Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX) has recognized El Camino Health with a Supply Chains of Distinction Award for 2023.
The health care organization is one of 25 medium health systems awarded for its supply chain work.
“El Camino Health is honored to be recognized by GHX as a top-performing hospital in the vital area of supply chain,” said Carlos Bohorquez, chief financial officer of El Camino Health, in a release. “My thanks go to our incredible supply chain team who work tirelessly, to ensure our frontline workers have the supplies necessary to deliver high-level care to our patients every day.”

GHX has also launched a “Perfect Order Dashboard” featuring monthly performance metrics and rankings, helping to empower hospitals and health systems to commit to best-in-class practices around order performance throughout the year.

In previous years, these awards were known as the “Best 50,” and this marks the third
consecutive year El Camino Health was recognized for supply chain excellence.
This year’s recipients will be honored at the 2024 GHX Summit taking place May 13-16, 2024 in Austin, TX.
