May 3

  • A caller reported that their son’s go-kart and miscellaneous tools were stolen, resulting in a total loss of approximately $1,500 on Panorama Way at 12:32pm.
  • A vehicle and a bicyclist were reportedly in an accident on Westhill Drive with an unknown number of injuries at 5:17pm.
  • A caller reportedly swerved off the road, swiped a telephone pole and shattered a window after avoiding a vehicle driving beside them at a high speed on Hicks Road and Shannon Oaks Lane at 6:54pm.
  • Someone reportedly walked out of Safeway on North Santa Cruz Avenue with a basket of items without paying at 9:52pm.

May 4

  • Contents were stolen from a lockbox that was reportedly pried open, and cash was left inside a file cabinet that was rummaged through on North Santa Cruz Avenue. The burglary occurred sometime after May 1 but was reported at 10:46am on May 4.
  • A suspicious vehicle was reported on Harwood Court at 11:08pm.

May 5

  • Officers issued a cite-and-release arrest for two juveniles who stole two bottles of BuzzBallz from Safeway on Pollard Road at 8:45am.
  • A family was reported for trespassing after attempting to take someone else’s order at Super Duper Burger on Los Gatos Boulevard at 5:00pm.

May 6

  • A vehicle accident reportedly occurred on University Avenue, and airbags were deployed at 1:37pm. 
  • Subjects reportedly stole a phone out of the caller’s wife’s purse while she was shopping at Trader Joe’s on Los Gatos Boulevard at 4:59pm.
  • A man was reportedly walking around in a face mask with a machete and a full spike sticking out of his backpack at Safeway on North Santa Cruz Avenue at 5:08pm.
  • A caller reported that their daughter’s friend stole her credit card and made about $400 in purchases at multiple locations on Los Gatos Boulevard at 5:27pm.
  • A caller reportedly hit a parked car, which sustained minor damage, and left their contact info on University Avenue at 6:23pm.

May 7

  • A caller reported that a homeless person tried to hit him and his walking partner and threw rocks at them on the North Creek Trail at 12:58pm.
  • A caller reportedly said a reckless driver “almost took her out” at Los Gatos Boulevard and Lark Avenue at 3:30pm.
  • Two juveniles on e-bikes were reportedly riding on the park lawn at La Rinconada Park on Granada Way at 7:04pm.

May 8

  • Officers issued a cite-and-release arrest after a vehicle accident occurred on Kennedy Road at 8:16pm.

May 9

  • Two motorcycles were reported speeding up and down Oka Road and Lark Avenue at 12:42am.
  • A person was reportedly checking car doors at Kings Court on Blossom Hill Road at 10:26am.
  • A woman reportedly stole a full shopping cart of dairy and deli products from Safeway on North Santa Cruz Avenue at 7:52pm.
