April 26

  • A subject reportedly walked in and took a rental bike at the Toll House Hotel on South Santa Cruz Avenue at 12:12am.
  • A subject was reportedly taking plums from the caller’s tree, and when asked to stop, the subject told the caller he was allowed to take whatever he wanted on Dardanelli Lane at 1:29pm.
  • A homeless person was reported wandering and scaring guests for at least 30 minutes at the Toll House Hotel on South Santa Cruz Avenue, and was refusing to leave by staff at 9:05pm.

April 27

  • Someone reportedly vandalized and painted bright pink graffiti letters over a very large area outside the driveway of Lake Vasona Manor on University Avenue at 1:03 pm.
  • A vehicle reportedly dumped oil and fluid in a parking spot near the lawn at the Los Gatos Library on Villa Avenue at 2:01pm.
  • A customer was reported naked and changing in front of his storage unit at Stor’ It Of Los Gatos on University Avenue at 4:10pm.

April 28

  • A vehicle and a bicyclist were involved in an accident with unknown injuries at Union Avenue and Los Gatos-Almaden Road at 11:58am.
  • A vehicle accident reportedly occurred northbound on Highway 17 and Los Gatos Saratoga Road with no injuries at 12:12pm.
  • A subject reportedly stole the caller’s phone at Jennifer Croll Clothiers on North Santa Cruz Avenue at 2:03pm.
  • A man was reportedly “playing” with his machete but not pointing it at anyone, and was flipping off passersby who looked at him at Pedro’s on North Santa Cruz Avenue and  Los Gatos Saratoga Road at 3:46pm.

April 29

  • A subject broke the window of the caller’s vehicle and attempted to steal it on Union Avenue at 8:18am.
  • A caller reported that an item from the front of their vehicle was stolen at Bonnie View Mobile Home Park on Oka Road at 8:26am
  • An officer was called on Barbara Drive regarding a possible attempted vehicle theft at 8:59am.
  • A subject who previously trespassed on Walgreens on North Santa Cruz Avenue was cited and released after allegedly refusing to leave and committing battery at 10:31am.
  • A homeless person was arrested for a misdemeanor after human feces were reported on the sidewalk outside 7-11 on East Main Street at 1:26 p.m.

April 30

  • Officers issued a cite-and-release arrest for a subject caught trespassing and refusing to leave Walgreens on North Santa Cruz Avenue at 4:39pm.
  • A man walking on Los Gatos Saratoga Road and North Santa Cruz Avenue was reported with a sheathed knife on his hip at 7:31pm.
  • Officers issued a cite-and-release arrest after being found with an open alcoholic beverage in front of the clerk’s office on East Main Street at 8:39pm.

May 1

  • Three juveniles were reported to be recklessly driving on e-bikes at the intersection of Los Gatos Saratoga Road and University Avenue at 4:42pm.
  • A caller reported three juveniles on e-bikes doing wheelies and cursing at him at Pizza My Heart on North Santa Cruz Avenue 10:02pm.
  • A caller reported they saw teens stealing from Safeway on North Santa Cruz Avenue at 10:31pm.

May 2

  • A subject reportedly broke the rear window of the caller’s vehicle while it was parked on the driveway on Filmer Avenue. The act of vandalism occurred in the last two days, but was reported on May 2 at 2:26pm.
  • Documents and handbags were reported missing on Bachman Avenue at 3:10pm.
  • A caller reportedly hit a deer while driving, sustaining some car damage, while the deer wandered off at Blossom Hill Road and Union Avenue at 3:34pm.
  • A vehicle was reported stolen from a driveway on Danville Drive at 4:11pm.
  • A caller reportedly saw someone walking southbound on University Avenue with a machete on their hip, but said they weren’t causing a disturbance or threatening anyone at 7:52pm.
