A live Falconry Experience will take place on Saturday, March 14, as part of “Journey Through the Chakras Wellness Weekend” held at Lupin Lodge.

Led by master falconer Kenny Elvin, who has practiced falconry for over 20 years, the experience invites participants into a powerful encounter with birds of prey.

Guests may have the opportunity to fly a Harris’s hawk, witness a raptor flying through the crowd, and meet another bird up close—offering a respectful, unforgettable look at these majestic animals.

Falconry is the ancient practice of hunting with a trained raptor, rooted in deep partnership and trust between human and bird.

During the experience, Elvin shares educational insights into raptor behavior, conservation and his work using birds of prey for humane pest control, blending performance, learning and embodied presence.

The Falconry Experience is one of many participatory offerings at “Journey Through the Chakras,” which weaves together nature, movement, sound, art and celebration.

The weekend includes hiking, sound baths, voice activation, life drawing with live music, sake tasting and live DJ sets.
