March 1

  • Someone reportedly burned a recycling dumpster at Jiffy Mart on Los Gatos Boulevard between 2:11am and 3:45am.
  • A homeless person was reported defecating on Live Oak Apartments’ property on Blossom Hill Road at 8:28am.
  • A caller reported that dumpsters had been burned at Goodyear Tire on Los Gatos Boulevard at 12:36pm.

March 2

  • A vehicle was reported driving the wrong way and cutting drivers off at Blossom Hill Road and Leigh Avenue at 8:09am.
  • A caller reported their neighbor on Bersono Lane was playing amplified music for an hour-and-a-half at 7:15pm.

March 3

  • A caller reported a man attempting to break into her car while she was inside, and continuing to check other car doors as he walked away at Jiffy Mart on Los Gatos Boulevard at 12:50pm.
  • Someone reportedly pried open several mailboxes on Lexington Court at 1:29pm.
  • A caller reported that a portion of their fence was damaged on Greenfield Place at 4:28pm. The damage was believed to have occurred about a week before the report.
  • One of the parties in a vehicle accident on North Santa Cruz Avenue and West Main Street reportedly complained of minor aches and head pain in the aftermath at 6:19pm.

March 4

  • A suspicious man was reported changing his license plate with an electric drill and turning his vehicle on and off at Belle Vista Court and Bella Vista Avenue at 5:59pm.

March 5

  • A large number of nails were reported in the roadway of Northbound Highway 85 and Winchester Boulevard at 8:59am.
  • Two people stole $1,200 worth of groceries from Safeway on North Santa Cruz Avenue at 10:26am.
  • A reckless vehicle was reported cutting off the caller and driving in multiple lanes at Winchester Boulevard and Knowles Drive at 3:15pm.
  • A caller reported their vehicle’s rear window broken into and their purse stolen at Hercules Draft House & Cantina on Los Gatos Saratoga Road at 9:03pm.

March 6

  • A man was arrested at Safeway on North Santa Cruz Avenue for trespassing and disturbing the peace at 4:04pm. The man had previously been reported for trespassing and had been told by police he was not allowed on the Safeway property.
  • A caller reported a burglary on Bersono Lane after finding a smashed rear window upon returning home at 8:52pm. 

March 7

  • A caller reported that the free speech event at the Civic Center on East Main Street was too loud and disruptive, believing the event violated the Town’s noise ordinance at 2:44pm.
  • A caller reported teenagers laying on the street outside her house and cursing at her on Los Gatos Boulevard at 9:51pm.
