At 10:27pm, gun shots were heard at Vasona Oaks on University Avenue. No injuries occurred, as the shots were a result of a negligent discharge occurring from the upstairs neighbor.
Monday, Aug. 25
Three vehicle accidents occurred throughout the day, one of which involved a vehicle colliding with a bicyclist on North Santa Cruz Avenue.
Electric wires were down on Madrone Avenue and Overlook Road at 9:43pm. A low hanging wire was blocking part of the road, and the fire department was contacted.
Tuesday, Aug. 26
At 12:43am, a suspicious vehicle was reported at Bachman Avenue and North Santa Cruz Avenue.
A noise disturbance was reported at 5:19am on Loma Alta Avenue. A reporting person heard continuous screaming in the area but could not locate the source.
Wednesday, Aug. 27
An incident of grand theft was reported on Industrial Way at 4:42pm. A bag containing electronics were stolen from the reporting person’s unlocked vehicle.
Later in the day, at 5:44pm, a stolen vehicle was reported on the same street. The vehicle in question is a green 2000 Honda Civic.
Thursday, Aug. 28
At 8:09am, battery was reported at the Old Adobe Barber Shop on Los Gatos Boulevard. Two men engaged in a fight, it is unclear if they were patrons or employees.
Friday, Aug. 29
A crime was reported at 11:34am on Andrews Street, although the incident occurred in May. A father changed his trust to have the reporting person as the executor instead of her brother, which resulted in a physical altercation initiated by the brother.
Saturday, Aug. 30
At 6:39pm, an incident of trespassing was reported at the Walgreens on North Santa Cruz Avenue. Two juveniles on bikes refused to leave the store and were harassing the reporting person.
Sunday, Aug. 31
Six auto burglaries were reported across the day.
Monday, Sept. 1
At 4:09pm, a suspicious person was reported between Centonove and Los Gatos Coffee Roasting on West Main Street. The subject was sprawled on the sidewalk and was believed to be intoxicated by the reporting person.
Tuesday, Sept. 2
Two incidents of trespassing were reported in the afternoon.
At 5:45 pm, wires were reported down on Zena Avenue. The power line snapped in half and reporting individuals witnessed sparking.
Wednesday, Sept. 3
Vandalism was reported on Los Gatos-Saratoga Road near the northbound entrance to Highway 17. Graffiti was spotted at the entrance to the creek trail.
At 9:04 pm, a noise disturbance was reported on Reservoir Road. The neighbor of the reported house was not present, yet numerous dogs, ducks and chickens were making noise for an extended period of time.
Thursday, Sept. 4
A suspicious vehicle was reported at 10:59 pm on Placer Oaks Road and Izorah Way. A white 2000 Mustang W continuously circled the neighborhood and stopped in front of various homes.
Friday, Sept. 5
At 8:45 pm, an individual at Hapas Brewing Company on South Santa Cruz Avenue was reported for drunk and disorderly conduct in public. The subject was witnessed harassing patrons and was asked to leave the premises.
Two juvenile disturbances were reported throughout the day, one at 1:17am and the other at 5:43pm.
Saturday, Sept. 6
An incident of vandalism was reported at 7:58am on North Santa Cruz Avenue. An unknown subject sprayed various words and messages pertaining to the ongoing Israel-Hamas War outside of the new Barnes & Noble Bookstore and Forbes Mill Steakhouse.
