The Los Gatos-Saratoga High School District has a vacancy on its board, after the sudden resignation of Alex Shultz.
And today, the District put out an official call for applications.

The District has decided to fill the role through an appointment process. To be considered you must be 18 years of age or older, a citizen of California and a resident of the school district area, a registered voter, and must not be disqualified by the Constitution or state laws from holding a civil office.
Employees of the school district must resign from their position before being sworn in, per the Education Code.
There are three ways to collect and submit an application.
Option 1: Electronic – Applications can be securely completed online via the District’s digital platform.
Option 2: A downloadable application form is available on the District’s website.
Option 3: In Person – Applications can be collected at the District office during regular business hours. (17421 Farley Road West, Los Gatos, 95030, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.
Submission Instructions Completed applications must be submitted to Tricia Zarevich, executive assistant to the superintendent and Board of Trustees, via email, electronically or in person.

The deadline for submission is February 28, 2025, at 4:30pm.
Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered. The board will hold interviews during a special meeting on March 11.
